The Challenge

The Need for Precise, Reliable, and Scalable Location Services

Government bodies faced growing challenges in delivering accurate geospatial data critical to land ownership, smart city infrastructure, logistics, and disaster response. Legacy GNSS systems failed to meet these demands due to - Inconsistent positioning accuracy, Absence of a national geodetic framework, Limited correction services in remote areas, Fragmented datasets across departments. These gaps led to delays, disputes, and inefficiencies in land management, construction, and governance.

Designing & Deploying a Future-Proof CORS Network

To solve this, Electro Plaza Projects worked as a systems integrator and deployment partner with Hexagon and SOI to roll out:

70 CORS stations across Jharkhand (28), West Bengal (38), and Sikkim (4)

High-precision GNSS receivers with RTK/PPK correction

Solar-powered systems with network/data redundancy

NTRIP-based real-time data streaming for centimeter-level accuracy

Cloud infrastructure to support remote access, data logs, and national interoperability
